I play (to varying degrees of skill) guitar, bass, and drums almost daily. I have been particularly hooked on practicing marching snare recently.
I love listening to music and discovering new albums. I listen to a newly released album every week to widen my experience. I am mainly an alternative rock, progressive rock, and progressive metal fan, although many of my top albums are also hip hop or indie.
This is what initially got me into this degree! I tinker almost daily with personal programming projects, and I love tinkering with computer hardware whenever I have the chance to.
My two main hobbies outside of the house. I took up bowling this last summer, and have really taken to it. My personal goal is to get to a 500 average! Golf has been a long-time passion for me, ever since I began playing in elementary school. The golf industry was my first job at 16 years old, and I was employed in a golf role for nearly eight years until I transferred to Oregon State University to finish my degree.
This is what got me into computers in general! I play a number of multiplayer games with friends, such as Rocket League, Sea of Thieves, and Super Mega Baseball 3. Recently, I have been playing Disco Elysium, Fable Anniversary, and PGA Tour 2k23 in my free time.
Even before I got my driver's license, I was obsessed with the idea of racing. I can happily spend hours at a time in my makeshift simulator set up at home, complete with a force feedback wheel, H-shifter, and sequential shifter. I would like to learn more about cars and eventually work on my own project car, in addition to upgrading my sim rig.
